6
days: Roundtrip to the Mount Roraima's Top with 1 night up there
|
1st day: output from Boa Vista to Sta Elena de Uairém
at 06:00h. Foreseen arrival at 09:30h. Brief stop for snack, photos
and output to San Francisco de Yuruani. Arrival around the 13:00h
with a vehicle changing and immediate departure to Paraitepuy. Travel
about an hour. In this day, you will mount camp in the indigenous
village. You will perform the record of your presence and will be
introduced to the natives that will accompany you during all the footpath.
At this moment you will receive the whole necessary details for the
travel.

2nd day: Distribution and weighing of the baggage. Output about
07-08:00h. Walking period: about five hours until the camp at the
Kukenan River, in a route of 16km. Arrival about 13-14:00h. Mount
camp, recognition of the area, photos, rest, some reflections and
information about what is about to come.

3rd day: Output around 08:00h towards the base of the mountain.
Route of 8km during 4 to 5 hours walking. Even the route is smaller,
the effort is already greater because you will be climbing 70% of
the footpath. Foreseen arrival 13:00h. Mount camp, feed yourself,
take a bath in the cold waters, recognition of the area for photos,
meditation, and information about what you will have next day.

4th day: Output at 08:00h towards the top. Footpath: about 4,5km.
Around 4 to 5 climbing hours. One of the more beautiful moments of
the footpath, with stopped during the course for photos, rest, admire
the wonderful landscape, see flowers as several species orchids, small
birds, etc. You will passe by several "igarapés"
(small rivers) and under a waterfall. Constantly climbing. Foreseen
arrival: 13:00h. Brief stop to recover the breath, and to follow to
the local for the camp. After the mounting of the tends and to organize
the equipment, you can do a small tour by the surroundings: know a
small crystals valley, the bathtubs Jacuzzi and to go until the steep
slope admire the horizon and all the Gran Sabana.

5th day: Time to returning to the civilization. After the coffee,
upload camp and to initiate the descent. About 08:0h. Foreseen descent
in 4 hours until the base, with stoppings of some 40 minutes for taking
a rest ,feed yourself and to follow direct to camp at the Tek River.
Foreseen arrival: 15:00h. Enjoy the remaining day for rest, bath and
recognition of the local, photos. This one will be your more comfortable
camp after all the trekking.

6th day: Last stage. Initiating walk towards the village about
8:00h. 15km to walk: about 4 hours. Arrival around noon. One hour
for resting, food and final hits with the natives. Routinary inspection
by the guard of Inparques. Returning to São Francisco and then
to Sta Elena. Later Boa Vista. Foreseen arrival at the city about
20:30h.
